This post is for everyone, but especially the people who are interested in studying in Korea and are afraid of coming here alone without knowing anyone. In Korea University it is easy to meet a lot of people and make friends. I was worried about not knowing enough people at school, but all the exchange students are friendly. Making friends with native Korean people is more difficult because I cannot speak Korean well.
The school put all of the exchange students into groups that have KU students who help us. The KU buddies arrange activities for everyone throughout the whole semester, so we always have activities and people to hang with all the time.
I recommend making connections from Korean friends in Hawaii if you have any. I was lucky because I have some good Korean friends at UH, so they introduced me to people in Korea.
These guys attend different universities and I met them through other people. I recommend hanging out with all kinds of people to experience the culture!!!!!!
