I think grocery shopping is not as important in Korea as it is in Hawaii. The restaurants around Korea University can be cheaper than buying food from a grocery store. I still buy groceries every week for healthy snacks to keep in my room.
Here is an example of some things I will buy. The cereal and yogurt is good for breakfast. The eggs are already cooked. I think if you are coming to Korea, certain things in the grocery store are more expensive than they would cost in America. The 10 pack of eggs were 3000 won, which is less than $3. I think this is a good price because they are cooked in a certain way that you cannot find in Hawaii.
Around most areas you can buy groceries from small stores that are convenient. People also sell fruit and vegetables from stands that are set up around different areas. I usually go to a big grocery store for my main things like eggs and yogurt. One example of a good store for shopping is Homeplus. For fruits and vegetables, the smaller stores are pretty good.

These are some healthy snacks that I will eat throughout the week. I bought all of this from Homeplus, but smaller stores have similar prices. I already ate some of the cauliflower, so it is hard to tell how much I bought. I spent 1000 won for that box and there was about double the amount of cauliflower in it.
This is an example of food that I would buy at a restaurant. I like soup because it is too cold now. I enjoy eating pho because it reminds me when I eat pho in Hawaii! The pho here is not that cheap though, the one in the picture was about 8000won. This is cheaper than Hawaii, but I can eat at other restaurants in Korea for less.
